Good to see you @jasnathanmartin , and congrats on finishing nursing school. Good to know we have a medical professional on the forum in case anybody steps on a pointy button.

It would be interesting to hear more about your experience using Bloom, it’s relatively new, no?

I’m one of those iPhone people, alas.

Hi! Thanks! It was tough but I’m a real RN now!

Bloom is very easy to use. It was designed to be used by people with limited computer experience. It doesn’t have a ton of features and at first I was frustrated with that. Then I had friends actually record audio without me “running” the computer and it was all worth it. From the Bloom program I can export books as pdf, epub, and I think a couple of other formats and I can also upload them to the Bloom website where people can read them online or download them. One of my favorite features, mentioned above, is the capacity for audio. The program will highlight each sentence and allow the user to record audio. Audio can be recorded multiple times. The Bloom website and the Bloom app for cell phones allows people to listen to the story while each corresponding sentence is highlighted.
