Shall we lock in for 3/28 at 3pm PT, then? And if anyone has texts they’d like to see OCR’d, please share ahead of time!

I"m actually not available at any of those times this month. But I don’t have OCR projects right now, so go on without me and I’ll catch next month’s time.
Yep — let’s lock in March 28 then.
@lgessler — can you post a Zoom link?
Looking forward to seeing you all soon! I meant to say: come with documents you’re curious about OCRing if you’d like to see how current systems fare with them.
Oops, looks like I missed it due to not accounting for daylight savings! I won’t make that mistake again….

I’m so sorry I missed the meeting yesterday (there were so many things on my calendar during the day that 6pm dropped off the viewable area)

Hi all — sorry April has escaped me but let’s figure out a date/time for May!
Friday May 9 — 3 pm Pacific
Friday May 16 — 3 pm Pacific
Friday May 23 — 3 pm Pacific
Friday May 30 — 3 pm Pacific
Edit 05/09: Bump for @lgessler @skalyan @SarahRMoeller @dhdaines — any of these May dates work for y’all?
Tool-wise — the next most voted tools after pympi
were penman
and pyforma
, neither of which I have used. Does anyone already have any experience with them related to a documentation project use?

I’m sure the authors would be willing to lead a discussion at some point

Hi! Sorry I couldn’t make it to one of these yet … obviously today doesn’t work for me, really the 23rd is the only one that I could attend (since it’s Friday evening here and usually I’m doing something else!)

Looks like the 23rd is ok?

Ah I misread that. Penman I don’t know but pyfoma I have contributed code to. So I could do a quick demonstration of it.

@dhd — great, pyfoma
it is for May!
(Technically we also have not demoed pympi
because the very first meeting just ended up as a hangout)
Thanks @dhd for giving us a quick overview of pyfoma
. Some links from that chat that may be of wider interest:

Sorry I missed the May date. COVID threw me off. Are we breaking for the summer?
Oops no, no intended summer break plans. June just came and went — I had been working on: GitHub - fauxneticien/u2u-asr .
Let me put up a July poll for dates where I can (selfishly) get some attendees to try out the u2u-asr
worfklow.
Friday July 11, 3pm Pacific
Friday July 18, 3pm Pacific
Friday July 25, 3pm Pacific
