We have an opportunity to hold an online exchange between the ELAN developer and ELAN users. There are not a lot of chances for ELAN or FLEx developers to talk to their users or share what decisions they have to make on the back end. And ELAN has a new developer! I’m looking for input whether to schedule this for summer (late May / early June)? Or would it be more convenient to wait till the fall and beginning of the academic year? When would you attend such an event?

Han Sloetjes has retired? Congrats to him! If this is in May or the first ~week of June, it’s probably early enough to catch people before summer events become a problem for scheduling. But after June 10 or so, conflicts (with fieldwork/colang/etc) for this user group are likely to become an issue
